Walk up Forest Street to Main Street & turn right (at traffic
lights). Continue walking along Main Street for about 4 blocks.
Turn left at Argyle Street (there is a grocery store on this
corner), then right at Trinity Place. The backpackers is on the
corner of Trinity Place and Argyle Street. About a 10 minute
walk from the ferry terminal (see the map below).

The bus will drop you at the Rodd Colony Hotel (opposite the
tourist office) - walk up Forest Street to Main Street & turn right
(at traffic lights). Continue walking along Main Street for about
4 blocks. Turn left at Argyle Street (there is a grocery store on
this corner), then right at Trinity Place. The backpackers is on
the corner of Trinity Place and Argyle Street. About a ten
minute walk (depending on how heavy your backpack is).
As the bus arrives late at night (approximately 10.30pm, we
suggest you catch a cab - approximately $6.50. (You should be
able to call one from inside the hotel). Please call ahead if
you plan to arrive by bus so we know to wait up for you.
