Backpackers Association SouthWest Nova has been formed to work as a united group of hostels determined to create awareness of this niche market in Nova Scotia.

Throughout the rest of the world and most of Canada, backpackers hostels are a common source of accommodation for those on a budget or for people who just enjoy meeting like minded travellers, however in Nova Scotia this type of accommodation is not yet recognised in the same way as "main stream" accommodations.

There are now six hostels located just in the SouthWest Nova area of Nova Scotia - although we are all within easy travelling of each other, each hostel and its immediate area offers vastly different experiences...so travel the Backpackers SouthWest Nova loop and experience the diversity that is Nova Scotia.
